Broadway Infant School is forward looking in its approach to education. The use of information and communication technology has long been integrated into teaching and learning within the school. |
Teachers plan creative lesson, innovation is encouraged and teachers are confident in their ability to adapt and follow learning paths initiated by children as they explore individual subjects or investigate through cross-curricular projects. |

The school currently has 164 pupils shared across six classes - two Reception, two Year 1 and two Year 2. Each class teacher is supported by assigned Teaching Assistants and this ensures children have access to high levels of adult support and attention throughout the day. |

The school has been awarded the Healthy Schools status. High quality school meals are cooked on site by our excellent catering team and lunch times are well supervised by a large number of dedicated Lunch Break Supervisors. Children can also bring a packed lunch to school if parents prefer. 'Fruit Tuck or Toast' is provided during the mid-morning break and the school also participates in the government 'Free Fruit' scheme. This fruit is consumed at the very beginning of each school day. If children have a school lunch, by the time they leave us at the end of the day they are well on their way to having consumed five portions of fruit or vegetables.
